Planet Professional Land Care Honors San Clemente

PLANET is the national organization for professional landscapers and hosts “The Excellence in Landscaping” (TEIL) awards annually. PLANET’s Environmental Improvement Awards Program reflects the association’s commitment to creating and preserving the beauty of our landscape. The program is designed to reward independent landscape, lawn care and interior plantscaping professionals who execute superior projects. PLANET strives to increase public awareness of environmental improvement through contracted landscaping, lawn care and interior plantscaping, and encourages the consistent use of quality materials and workmanship.  The TEIL awards are judged by a team of five landscaping professionals, whose cumulative experience exceeds 100 years.

Special attention is paid to maintenance quality, environmental issues, special challenges (such as our Texas drought and native wildlife), type of project (commercial, interior, exterior, residential, etc.) and the creative responses to successfully manage each project.

Of the 143 projects entered into this year’s program, including San Clemente, only 21 property’s earned Awards of Distinction.  The Environmental Improvement Distinction Award was presented to 3900 San Clemente.
