CAREER SUMMARY

Debbie Layton joined HPI Real Estate Management, Inc. in 2009 as a Property Manager.  She currently manages three (3) office building developments:  Frontera Vista - 268,000 sf, The Crossings at Lakeline - 232,000 sf, Wild Basin One & Two - 139,000 sf and one (1) industrial property development:  Crystal Park - 275,000 sf.

Ms. Layton's responsibilities involve managing all aspects of commercial properties including daily operations, risk management and financial activities.  She also coordinates tenant move-ins and small tenant finish jobs.  Ms. Layton has also had experience in coordinating larger capital improvement projects.  She has been involved in a 4 million dollar renovation and most recently a building remodel costing approximately $500,000.   This work consisted of replacing common area carpet, wall vinyl, entrance tile, new elevator interior, complete restroom remodel, painting and new lighting.  Her financial duties include supervising the planning, budgeting and control of operating and capital expenditures.

Ms. Layton joined HPI with over 25 years extensive experience in the property management field.  Prior to joining HPI she worked for Live Oak Gottesman, CB Richard Ellis and Trammell Crow Company.  Debbie began here real estate career as a Leasing Assistant and advanced to become involved with the Property Management field on different levels such as Property Accountant and Assistant Property Manager.  During her tenure she attained a diverse background to include preparation of financial and management reports, accounts receivable/payable, budget preparation, monthly billings, monthly owner reports, and year-end reconciliations.
