Career Summary

Chris is responsible for all areas of property management, including day to day operations, construction management, capital projects, and building strong client and tenant relations. Chris’ overriding goal is to optimize the income, cash flow and value of every square foot in our portfolio.

Prior to joining HPI, Chris lead Adler Realty Services, LLC/Adler Group, Inc., for 5 1/2 years based in Miami, FL as President overseeing property management, asset management, leasing, brokerage, new business development, client relations, financial and asset reporting. During his tenure and under his leadership, he helped grow the portfolio to over 10 million square feet throughout Florida, Texas, the Southeast, South and Mid-Atlantic regions. Prior to leading ARS, Balish was Director-Vice President for HDGM Management & Investment Services, LLC in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he helped manage and grow a national institutional investment portfolio to over 8 million SF in 28 states valued at $1.6 billion. Additionally, he served as Senior Vice President – Asset Management with Healthcare Trust of America, Inc., one of the strongest publicly traded Healthcare REITs in the country, with a portfolio of 7.45 million SF valued at over $1.5 billion, and Lauth Property Group, directing a national 10 million square-foot portfolio valued at over $1.4 billion. Throughout his career, Balish has led, managed, developed and leased many premier office and industrial properties across the country.

Balish earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management-Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Communications Arts & Science from Western Michigan University, as well as a Masters of Business Administration from George Mason University. Balish is very active in assisting and mentoring at risk, inner-city children to attend college through local community centers and the Boys & Girls Club. He is an avid cyclist and fitness enthusiast.
